Brutaflam 90mg Tablet is a pain relieving medicine. It is used for relieving moderate pain and swelling of joints associated with different forms of gout and arthritis. It is also used for short-term treatment of moderate pain after dental surgery in people 16 years of age and older.
Brutaflam 90mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose depends on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer than recommended.
The most common side effects of this medicine include stomach pain, edema, dizziness, headache, irregular heartbeat, and increased blood pressure. These are not usually serious but if you are worried, ask your doctor about ways of reducing or preventing them.
Before taking it, you should let your doctor know if you have a history of ulcer or bleeding in your stomach, high blood pressure, or have any trouble with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking because they may affect, or be affected by, this medicine.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before starting treatment. You should also avoid drinking alcohol while you are taking this medicine. Heavy drinking can cause excessive drowsiness.

HOW TO COPE WITH SIDE EFFECTS?
The occurrence of side effects varies from person to person. The following are a few ways of dealing with some of the common side effects. However, consult your doctor if these persist.
Coping with Stomach pain
Try to get plenty of rest and relax. Putting a heat pad or covered hot water bottle on your stomach may relieve the stomach pain. It may help if you eat and drink slowly and have smaller and more frequent meals. Reduce your intake of coffee, tea and alcohol as these can make the pain worse. If you are in a lot of pain, speak to your doctor about possible medication. Your doctor may be able to prescribe some over-the-counter medicines to help reduce the pain.
Coping with Diarrhea
Keep up your intake of fluids and electrolytes (sugars and salts) to avoid getting dehydrated. Eat less fiber (avoid raw fruits, fruit juice and vegetables). Talk to your doctor about possible medication to manage diarrhea. Ask about reducing the dosage of your drug or other suitable treatments.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Brutaflam 90mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
