Nexret T Gel reduces excessive oil production of the skin. Ideally, a pinpoint application at nighttime is recommended for the duration prescribed by your doctor. The amount you need and for how long you need to take it will depend on what you are being treated for. You should normally wash and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of this medicine. Follow your doctor’s instructions. You should not apply it to damaged or broken skin and avoid contact with your mouth, eyes and nose. It may take several weeks for your symptoms to improve but keep using it regularly to get the most benefit. Consult your doctor again if you do not notice any improvement after a few weeks. Using more medicine or applying it more often than prescribed will not make it work any faster and may increase the side effects.
The most common side effects include irritation, dryness and redness of the skin. They are usually mild and improve as your body gets used to the medicine. HOW TO COPE WITH SIDE EFFECTS?
The occurrence of side effects varies from person to person. The following are a few ways of dealing with some of the common side effects. However, consult your doctor if these persist.
Coping with Skin irritation
There are many treatments for a wide range of skin problems. Avoid hot showers or baths because hot water can irritate the skin. Make sure to pat dry your skin after a bath or shower. Choose clothing fabrics that will not irritate your skin.
Coping with Increased sensitivity to light
If your eyes are sensitive to bright light, use your hand or a hat to reduce glare while outdoors. Try to stay away from bright lights and shiny surfaces. Wearing tinted glasses or sunglasses will also help. Keep lights dimmed inside. Avoid long screen time and take frequent eye breaks from your device or avoid it totally if you can.
