Nuforce Soap is an antifungal medication. It is used in the treatment of fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, nappy rash, sweat rash and vaginal thrush. It kills the fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane.
Nuforce Soap is for external use only. You should use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need as instead of clearing the infection faster, it may cause increased side effects. If your condition goes on for longer than four weeks or gets worse at any time, let your doctor know. The effects of medicine can be increased by keeping the affected area clean and dry and by washing hands before and after treating the infection. If you have athlete’s foot, wash your socks or tights thoroughly and change your shoes daily if possible.
Some of the common side effects include skin irritation, redness or itching at the site of application. If the side effects bother you or do not go away, let your doctor know. Some people have a severe allergic reaction which needs urgent medical attention. Signs of this include rash, swelling of the lips, throat or face, swallowing or breathing problems, dizziness and nausea. Get emergency help if this happens.
It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way it works but talk to your doctor before using it if you have used a similar medicine before and had an allergic reaction. This medicine should only be used if it is clearly needed during pregnancy.

HOW TO COPE WITH SIDE EFFECTS?
The occurrence of side effects varies from person to person. The following are a few ways of dealing with some of the common side effects. However, consult your doctor if these persist.
Coping with Skin peeling and Skin irritation
There are many treatments for a wide range of skin problems. Avoid hot showers or baths because hot water can irritate the skin. Make sure to pat dry your skin after a bath or shower. Do not rub or scratch the affected area. Leave the skin exposed to the air as much as possible. Do not use perfumed soaps or deodorants. Water containing chlorine can make most skin problems worse, so avoid swimming. Avoid spicy foods, alcohol, tobacco smoke and caffeine as it may also make itching worse. Avoid excessive sun exposure. Always use sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors. Moisturizers can be used regularly to soothe and hydrate the affected area. If it does not get better within a week, speak to a pharmacist or doctor.
